2488 (1273 BCE):

According to tradition, Moshe waged war on Og, king of Bashan on the eve of the Jewish people entering the Land of Israel. (Tanhuma, Hukkat 24). 

3828 (67 C.E.):

A Roman force captured Gamla, a fort in the Galilee after being defeated on their first attempt (Josephus, Jewish Wars 4:1). Thousands of Jewish inhabitants were slaughtered, while others chose to jump to their deaths from the top of the cliff.
