Yahrzeit of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev, popular Chasidic leader, author of Kedushat Levi and composer of Chasidic music. He stressed joyful service of God, admonished his disciples to look for the good in people (for which he earned the appellation "defense attorney of the Jewish people") and is immortalized by his optimistic parables emphasizing his great love for the Jewish people.
